For those not in the know&#8230; Karter is the original producer of &#8220;Pick Up the Mic!&#8221;
His documentary Twisted Tongues: a highlight on the birth of homos in hip hop, 
was scheduled to release during the Summer of 2001. Of course, we all know what happened months later, so this project just spiraled out of existence&#8230; Until, now.

Born in the Bay Area, Ca, Misstress has been in the spotlight since the age of nine, opening for acts like Medusa, and the legendary Yo-Yo. She is an OMA 2009 nominee for Outstanding Hip Hop Artist.
